Intimate Baby Shower

I had the honor of planning my sisters baby shower this June. Being her baby sister, "Twinee" and this being the first grand child in our family-- my excitement couldn't be contained for months! Together Rebecca and I planned this little intimate get together of wonderful women, with daily phone calls ("conference calls") and making To Do lists and wish lists and budgets....

A little touch of love, a lot of pink and the HOA party room made this Baby Shower day intimate and a great success! From the safari elephant baby girl theme, with "It's A Girl" chocolate Kisses in the gift bags, three different types of sliders (fun summer yet sophisticated food) veggie, chicken and shredded beef, to cheese & fruit bite starters, decadent cupcakes and of course the infamous pink sparkling drink-- it was simple & sweet... and what a way to honor the mother to be my beautiful big sister Rebecca. A side note to other planners, leave plenty of time for the gift opening-- there's a bounty of onesies to be unwrapped! And a good fun game to play, guess how big the mother to be's belly is! Definitely a fun way to involve those shy guests and those more ambitious too of course.
